We're Fantastic for Families (Officially!)

23rd September 2022

We are absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted for a Fantastic for Families 'Best Family Arts Activity' award for our 2021 festival!

Now in its ninth year, the Fantastic for Families Awards is an annual programme open to UK-based cultural organisations or cultural activity organisers, providing creative opportunities, activities, or initiatives for families and older audiences.

The pandemic has had a profound impact on all of us over the last few years, and the current cost of living crisis continues to affect many, yet the arts sector continues to provide quality family arts experiences, reaching more families and engaging more diverse communities, particularly the most vulnerable and marginalised.

The 2021-22 shortlist recognises and celebrates the achievements of family arts professionals, through sharing their diverse stories from across the arts spectrum, of supporting community audiences and participants including families, young mothers, isolated elders, and those struggling with mental health conditions.

Fantastic For Families Awards are given by Family Arts Campaign, the national Sector Support Organisation for arts engagement and families, funded by Arts Council England.
The winners of the Fantastic For Families 2022 Awards will be announced on November 16th, book your free tickets here.
