The Errant Stage

WAF Big Red Poetry Tour, West Putney

Following the roaring success of 2018, the alternative, solar-powered, mobile performance venue The Errant Stage is back at Wandsworth Arts Fringe!

This year’s Big Red Poetry Tour offers a fresh line-up of award winning spoken word artists and emerging local poets right on your doorstep.

Throughout the afternoon you can pop in and experience our audio/visual installation of performance poets brought to you by our Finnish partners Helsinki Poetry Connection. Then wait until the sun goes down and catch our resident poets performing back-to-back in our live evening performance.

Become a performance poet with us!

By popular demand we have brought back our children’s storytelling workshop each day at 4pm - come and join our renowned children’s writer, listen to them perform and have a go at writing yourself! You’ll even get the chance to jump on the mic and perform for your family and friends from the estate.

Don’t forget to check out our adult masterclass and open mic event on Saturday 11th May at St Nicholas’ Church in Tooting.

Installation from 3pm

Children’s Workshop and performances 4-5.30pm

Live Performances 7-8pm

Commissioned by Wandsworth Arts Fringe with support from Enable Leisure and Culture and Wandsworth Council.
