Children / Family - Dance
This year, specially for Wandsworth Arts Fringe, LCB are delighted to present a Studio version of 'Anne of Green Gables', first performed in May 2022 at The Peacock Theatre.
'Anne of Green Gables' is the story of a lively, imaginative 11-year-old orphan, Anne Shirley. Adopted by a family in a remote farming village in Canada, Anne gets herself into endless scrapes but eventually wins over the community with her endearing, fearless character and passionate nature. Full of drama and humour, this warm-hearted story is set to an original score and is perfect for the whole family.
LCB’s annual West End productions are an ideal way to introduce younger audiences to ballet and classical music. Performed by an all-child cast, the star-quality of the dancers aged 9–16 and brilliantly-told stories make LCB ballets a sell-out success year after year, popular with children and adults alike.
