A free event in the new Battersea Power Station development - where you can let the arts and creativity refresh your mind & soul
(Please note that this event is not suitable for children - 16+ only)
The afternoon will begin with a screening of dancer & choreographer Rachel Riveros’ moving short film Pursue Me – which explores the journey from brokenness to being whole and loved.
Then there will be the opportunity to choose from a range of activities:
• Work with professional dancers - both watching & creating dance pieces around wellbeing (no dance experience needed)
• Experiment with the Japanese craft of Kintsugi, where broken ceramics and other materials are repaired with precious metals to bring beauty from brokenness
• Relax in the chill-out room – with comfortable chairs, cushions, refreshments and gentle crafts.
• Experience reviving rose oil hand massage
