E33 Dance and Nine Elms Arts Ministry

Creative Soul: An Arts Spa

A free event in the new Battersea Power Station development - where you can let the arts and creativity refresh your mind & soul.

The afternoon will begin with a screening of dancer & choreographer Rachel Riveros’ moving short film Pursue Me – which explores the journey from brokenness to being whole and loved.

Then there will be the opportunity to choose from a range of activities:

• Work with professional dancers - both watching & creating dance pieces around wellbeing (no dance experience needed)

• Experiment with the Japanese craft of Kintsugi, where broken ceramics and other materials are repaired with precious metals to bring beauty from brokenness

• Relax in the chill-out room – with comfortable chairs, cushions, soft music, refreshments and gentle crafts.

• Other activities to be announced

Treat yourself!
