We're delighted that Riverside Radio is our local broadcast media partner again this year. Here's a message from their Arts Team:

Hello WAF Performers!

Leading up to WAF, we put all our focus on WAF performers.

For the fortnight leading up to the Fringe, you can be part of our arts coverage on the local radio station for south west London and promote your performance to our thousands of listeners.

There’s two ways of doing this. Either you can come into our Battersea studios as a guest on a live radio show, or we can interview you somewhere locally or via Zoom and feature you on our ArtsWatch reports which go out on air in our Breakfast and Drive shows. You may want to appear on our Sunday arts magazine show, Barclay's Brunch, between 11am and 1pm.

Pre-recorded interviews will be arranged between 2-22 May.

Live interviews will be scheduled from w/c 28 May.

We will post recordings of your interviews on our news page and share across all our social media channels ahead of and during the festival.

Please note – all interview slots are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

WAF Young Reporters

This year, there is an opportunity to be interviewed in a pre-recorded setting by one of our WAF Young Reporters, a small cohort of local young people aged 14-19, who are working with Riverside Radio to develop broadcast journalism skills as part of a new WAF initiative.

Please let us know if you would be open to being interviewed by a WAF Young Reporter - we will be conducting interviews in person at the Riverside Radio studio in May (evening dates tbc) so please make sure you are available to come to the studio on at least one of those dates before requesting an interview slot with a Young Reporter. These interviews will be aired several times so will offer your event more exposure than a live interview slot or a pre-recorded interview with a Riverside Radio arts reporter, as well as supporting the next generation of culture journalists.
