Parking There is no parking available at RAD. The Travelodge Battersea (next to RAD on Gartons Way) has a public parking facility which is managed by APCOA. It has a capacity of 40 spaces available all day Monday – Sunday. Please visit the Travelodge website for information. There are no disabled parking bays on Gartons Way, York Place or York Road. The Travelodge has disabled parking bays, Blue Badge holders are exempt from charges. There are single and double yellow lines located on Gartons Way and York Place which Blue Badge holders may park on for a maximum of 3 hours, restrictions may apply. River Boat Plantation Wharf Pier is located 200 metres walk of the RAD, situated adjacent to the River Thames to the West of the site. The Pier offers regular Riverboat services (River Bus RB6) to and from Embankment, London Bridge and Canary Wharf. RB6 (operated by MBNA Thames Clippers) generally runs every 30 minutes during the morning and evening peak periods. Bus Bus stops directly outside the front of York Road are serviced by the 44, 295, C3 and N44. Further bus stops are located on Plough Road, including bus route 170. Low floor bus, with wheelchair accessibility, are provided on these bus routes. Rail The closest mainline station is Clapham Junction which is located approximately 800 metres east of the RAD (8 mins walk, 3 mins cycle). Despite its name Clapham Junction is not located in Clapham, it is located near St. John’s Hill, Battersea. Clapham Junction station is managed by Southwestern Trains and provides connections north-eastbound to London Waterloo via Vauxhall (10 minute journey approximately) and southbound to various destinations including Brighton, Guilford, Reading, Portsmouth, Southampton and Exeter. Clapham Junction is also served by the London Underground service, which calls at stations including West Brompton, Kensington (Olympia), Shepherds Bush and Willesdon Junction. Clapham Junction is fully accessible.
