Get Involved

Here at Wandsworth Arts Fringe (WAF) we love art in all its forms – theatre, music, dance, visual art and all things in between. Whether you’re a local artist or visiting professional, first time or older hand wishing to try a new idea or venue - get involved in our annual arts extravaganza, and a celebration of Fringe arts in Wandsworth in May.

We are also always on the look out for  venues -  indoors and outdoors, pop-up and permanent-  to open up spaces for arts activities, working with artists and attracting new audiences.  See here for more information

WAF is an open access arts festival – similar in format to the Edinburgh Fringe. We offer lots of support (like help finding a venue) but it’s up to you, the artist, to make all the final arrangements to make your event happen.

Why not! This is a fabulous opportunity to test new ideas, challenge yourself, attract new audiences and open up a new arts space.

We Support You

We provide online toolkits and guidance and employ a PR agency to help us run a well-oiled publicity campaign.

How To
Support Yourself

Sorry to harp on here, but we can’t reiterate enough that the more you put into WAF the more you get out of it!

Participants who really market their event themselves, work with other participants to cross promote events and to
share ideas will get the most out of WAF.

Marketing is KING! Being in the brochure alone does not guarantee an audience.  Factor marketing into your budget!
