My Mother Said I Never Should

First performed in Manchester in 1978 this moving play has since been translated into 22 languages and performed all over the world from London to Japan.

The story moves through the lives of 4 generations of an ordinary northern family – grandmother, mother, daughter and granddaughter – and is a warm, poignant story of growing up , growing old, and ultimately of love.

Presented by special arrangement of Samuel French, Ltd.
