Fashioning Wandsworth

Artwork by pupils from Wandsworth primary schools created on the theme of 'Fashioning Wandsworth: exploring identity and clothing through illustration' is exhibited in 3 Wandsworth libraries for WAF 2024 and throughout the Summer.
During the Spring term three Wandsworth primary schools have worked with artist and designer Elyse Blackshaw to explore identity and clothing through illustration .
The workshops explored a range of skill building techniques to provide children in Wandsworth with a unique opportunity to explore fashion illustration, celebrate diversity and individuality, open discussions on sustainability and collaborate on a piece of artwork for a
community space.
Their work is exhibited in:
- Roehampton Library: The Alton School
- Wandsworth Town Library: Swaffield Primary School
- York Gardens Library: Falconbrook Primary School
