Pegasus Opera presents a Windrush 75th Anniversary Concert - a musical performance featuring top classical singers with music by composers of African, Caribbean and Asian heritage with gospel, spirituals, opera, musical theatre and songs inspired by the black diaspora.

The performance will include extracts from Pegasus' brand new Windrush opera, inspired by the stories of the Windrush generation, which will tour the UK in 2024. This will be an exclusive opportunity to hear this music for the very first time, and have a sneak peek into the opera!

Join our host, international opera star and Artistic Director of Pegasus Opera, Alison Buchanan for an evening of musical celebration, performed by singers from the Royal Opera House, English National Opera, Glyndebourne and other major opera companies and festivals around the UK. The programme will include music by Samuel Coleridge Taylor, Shirley J. Thompson, Errollyn Wallen, Scott Joplin, 'Windrush Opera' composer Des Oliver and many more.
