Join the Royal Academy of Dance and experience the magic of dance with an introduction to ballet and Bharatanatyam through fun and supportive sessions for ages 4-13.

Dip into dance in our beautiful studio spaces, allowing you to explore movement as a means of self-expression and self‐awareness.

RAD dance teacher, Jess Cameron, will lead the beginners ballet workshops, and dance artist Lakshmi Samarakoon will introduce some of the key hand movements and rhythms of the feet in the South Asian Classical Dance workshops for different ages.

Priced at £4 per child/young person for an hours workshop. Families are welcome to observe, subject to availability. No prior dance experience is required.

Part of the RAD's 'The Magic of Dance' community open day, there are also lots of free activities to enjoy on the day, including a dance performance showcase featuring RAD students and local dance artists, creative arts and crafts, music, and more to be announced.
