Art / Exhibitions - Free Event - Workshops
An accompaniment to the exhibition at Outlined Gallery, 'Windows of the Soul' aims to demonstrate the realities of living with visual impairment.
The workshop will focus on interactive dialogues with the artists, some of whom will have work which can be viewed online at www.windowsofthesoul.art and others at Outlined Gallery.
It will provide an opportunity to understand different forms of visual disability through the use of sim specs, as well as utilise meditation through art and decoding braille exercises. This will be run in collaboration with the charity LOOK, which supports young people living with visual impairment.
Finally, we will explore the link between our eyes and brain, optical illusions, and visual tricks in conjunction with scientists from Moorfields Eye Hospital.
Supported by Wandsworth Arts Fringe through the Wandsworth Grant Fund.
