Detail from colourful quilt artwork.

You are warmly invited to the unveiling of the Queer Lives and Art community quilt!

Created over a series of workshops throughout June, the quilt documents LGBTQIA+ experiences and allyship across Wandsworth. This quilt was made in collaboration between queer artists Al Hill, Joe Lawn, Colin Lievens, and Eleanor Louise West, and the Wandsworth LGBTQIA+ community.

This celebration is free and refreshments will be provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The venue is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet. There will be seating. The celebration is a relaxed event. If you have any access requirements, please email us and we will cater to them.

Supported by a WAF Grant through Wandsworth Grant Fund.

This event is part of the exhibition and public programme Queer Lives and Art: Radical Textiles coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Pride in London, organised by collective Shed Project. Find out about the rest of the programme on our instagram
