Art / Exhibitions - Free Event
An exhibition and local heritage sharing event hosted by the KLS Age Well group.
Following a series of creative workshops for the over 60’s at the Katherine Lowe Settlement exploring Battersea's local heritage, artist Sam Haynes and the Supported Housing Community Development Team invite you to join us and Age Well for a sharing event celebrating the rich history of the area.
Come and play 'Battersea's the Name of the Game', an interactive artwork depicting colourful characters of the past moving through famous local landmarks to reach their destination. The celebration will include a display of artwork and discussion around Battersea's changing landscape, reflecting on the past to look to the future. Light refreshments will be provided.
This special event will take place on Wednesday 22nd June, Katherine Lowe Settlement, 108 Battersea High Street, London, SW11 3HP from 1-3pm.
