Forming in 2017, the Meg Morley Trio has been recognised as “one of the most exciting groups on the current UK scene” with “the potential to make an impact on the wider jazz scene too” (All About Jazz), and have also toured the UK with commissioned semi-improvised scores for silent film (including from the British Film Institute).

Fun, interplay and dynamism come through in their music, originating from their individual backgrounds: Morley is a classically-trained pianist-composer, with extensive experience improvising for silent film and contemporary dance; the prodigiously self-taught Sadler (on bass) is proficient in various musical styles, performing with an array of musicians (Sam Kelly - Cymande; Ray Davies - the Kinks; Neil Cowley Trio; ISQ); and the virtuosic yet sensitive Caroselli (on drums) is immersed in the 'jazz' tradition with influences from pop, rock and Cuba (after living and studying in Havana for three years).
