The Woodfield Pavilion is surrounded by the words of nature, the sounds of the earth, the noises of the trees. All these voices can be captured to give us a way of expressing ourselves. The need, especially over these difficult past months, to listen to our own stories and find a way to let them free is part of all of us.
Tracy Bickley has been involved in the performing arts most of her life; graduating from Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama in 1991. Having had experience of devising, directing and acting; it was through making Art in a therapeutic setting that led her to making a deeper connection to writing and storytelling. Using the life that is growing all around the Woodfield as the inspiration to help everyone create their own stories.
The walls inside the pavilion will be the canvas for much of the final pieces produced. The wealth of words, like leaves on the trees, will come together to fill the space with the stories that have yet to be told.
