All around the Woodfield Pavilion we see the movement of the trees. The leaves constantly dance and boughs and branches sway and move to their own rhythms. Nature is in constant movement.
Kate Stober trained at Elmhurst Ballet School and the English National Ballet School where she received a scholarship to train with the Vaganova (Kirov) Ballet Academy. She danced with the English National Ballet company nationally and internationally performing in a wide variety of productions including: The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Giselle, and Sleeping Beauty. She teaches as part of The London Dance Academy, and has been working with The Woodfield for the past year.
Kate will take her inspiration from the beautiful surroundings of the Woodfield Pavilion. Working with children and adults to encourage them to understand that movement isn’t just functional, but by seeing things differently, and letting go of our more structured selves, we can all learn a thing or two from the nature that is everywhere.
