Together, let's reconnect with our inner light, joy, energy, and true selves. Through simple physical movements accessible to all, let us feel that we are all connected, all together in the great family of life. The more we express our inner light and the more we allow others to shine, the more we contribute to general well-being.
Tenshintaido, created by Master Hiroyuki Aoki, aims to attain true freedom, creating peace and harmony through physical expression. Using our body, we can learn to live in harmony with self, society, nature and the fundamental life force of the universe.
We will start with a Japanese warming up, then we will practice some fundamental katas (forms) of Tenshintaido, ending with demonstration of Japanese Sword. The workshop is open to adults and children aged 12+ and is limited to 20 participants.
Beatrice Boivineau lived in Japan for 11 years, where she became a 3 dan instructor. She moved to London in 2019 and is the founder of Tenshintaido Kooki dojo, where she teaches in person and online Tenshintaido and Kenbu Tenshinryu (sword) for small groups or one-to-one. She also does Shiatsu massages and Calligraphy initiation.
