Free-Up Festival is a one day event filled with creative activities, discussions and performances designed by and for residents in Wandsworth.
The Inside-Out Collective Presents ‘Free Up Festival’.. A chance to get back to community. FREE UP FEST is a culmination of events in response to the Black Lives Matter movement, mental health and Covid-19. It will showcase the diversity, innovation and talent in the area and provide a space for the community to heal and re-imagine.
The festival boasts creative art activities: paint & sip, live podcast discussions on pertinent issues, films featuring community experiences, interactive workshops and Life Is What U Make It, a life sized crime prevention board game followed by performances.
The event is run by five local change makers, aims to bring back a sense of community which has been widely affected by regeneration, lockdown and crime. Free Up Festival celebrates and platforms young creatives, showcasing the diversity and innovation in the area, whilst giving you an opportunity to see heaps of amazing talent.
