Imagine you are a seaweed in the Ocean, and that you are dancing with the waves, just following and enjoying the movements of the Ocean. Your body and mind are completely relaxed, without any tension or fear.
Tenshintaido, a group of body practices created by Master Hiroyuki Aoki, focuses on attaining true freedom and creating peace and harmony through physical expression. Using our body, we can learn to live in harmony with self, society, nature and the fundamental life force of the universe. We will start with Japanese soft stretching movements, and progressively, we will do exercises to relax more and more.
Beatrice Boivineau lived in Japan for 11 years, where she became Tenshintaido and Kenbu Tenshinryu 3 dan instructor. She is also a member of Master Aoki Calligraphy school in Japan and a Shiatsu massage healer. She moved in London in 2019 and she is the founder of Tenshintaido Kooki (beaboivineau.com).
-> You are very welcome to join and make new friends in her weekly online Zoom classes (free, donations welcome). Small outside group sessions (5 students) in Wandsworth area are restarting too.
