Two clowns and their vagina (puppets!) investigate the Christian Church's approach to sex, celibacy and female desire.
Part seminar, part ancient matriarchal myth, 'Just Don’t Do It' is set in 1999 at Soul Harvest Christian summer camp, where enthusiastic youth leaders Trish and Tash explain how to save yourself 'til marriage – Just Don't Do It.
Based on the performer's experiences and seamlessly combining audience interaction with '90s dance routines, vagina hand puppets and classic Motown hits, this 'bonkers yet touching' (***** Explore Reading) debut questions questionable narratives around women and sexuality within the modern church.
A high energy, female-led, surreal clown theatre show, devised by the company and directed by award-winning comedy artist Deanna Fleysher (Butt Kapinski).
Part of Tara Theatre's 'I'll Say It Again' season of female-led work.
Created with support from Wandsworth Arts Fringe through Wandsworth Grant Fund.
