Eleanor Byrne

A Life Sentence

Set in Ireland, 'A Life Sentence' is inspired by real women's stories and their experiences with symphysiotomy (a barbaric birth delivery method).

Eleanor Byrne's debut play explores her own grandmother’s experiences surviving symphysiotomy. Performed by Eleanor and directed by Jessica Arden.
