Ballet Soul

Every Soul

An evening of ballet and contemporary dance showcasing dancers who are beginning, developing and exploring their practice. Three groups will present their work and discuss their journeys.

Tavaziva presents 'Journeying Between', where local young dancers and musicians perform work they have created during a week of workshops led by professional dancers and musicians from Tavaziva and RAD in partnership with Caius House.

'Into Dance Making' is a choreographic project for young dancers, run annually as part of The Royal Academy of Dance’s 'Step into Dance' programme. During the evening of dance we will be presented a selection of newly commissioned choreographic works created by the young choreographers, who took part in the project.

Ballet Soul presents 'Introducing Othello', a work in progress for a full length production, which meets Othello in the 21st century in a world of media and technology.

Ballet Soul will also host two open classes at 9.30am (all levels) and 10.45am (intermediate level).

Supported by Wandsworth Arts Fringe through Wandsworth Grant Fund.
