Pump House Gallery is delighted that the Pavilion is back with a programme produced specially for WAF 2018.
Pump House Pavilion will pop up on the gallery terrace from 18 – 20 May and run alongside the exhibition, 'We are having a little flirt' (25 April – 8 July 2018). With events both at the gallery and at the Pavilion throughout WAF, drop in for a series of workshops, performances and events as we explore the themes of uncertainty, taking chances and multiple possibilities.
All activities are free, suitable for all ages and open for all to drop-in to.
The Pavilion is a partnership project between St William and Wandsworth Council, forming part of the borough’s Cultivate education programme and Nine Elms area cultural development programme to extend the vitality of London’s South Bank all the way to Battersea Park. Commissioned by Dallas-Pierce-Quintero and Pump House Gallery, architects NEON and structural engineers Elliott Wood collaborated with pupils from Chestnut Grove Academy in Balham to conceive, design and programme the structure.
