How can art be used to optimise quality of life after a brain injury?

We welcome you to the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability’s exhibition; Art on the Brain. This will be showcasing the wonderful work made by our patients and residents.

Join us for an inspiring and insightful evening where you will get a chance to:

Listen to short talks from members of our specialist multi-disciplinary team (including Occupational Therapists and Art Technicians)

Learn about the benefits of Occupational Therapy Art and discover how it is used for patients in Neuro-rehab, patients in Prolonged Disorder of Consciousness and continuing care settings.

Engage in demonstrations and interactive sessions where you can discover how working with materials like clay, paint or textiles can be used for patients to explore different sensory stimulation, optimise their independence and strength, promote creative self-expression as well informing multi-disciplinary assessments.
