The Woodfield Pavilion
The Woodfield is a beautifully restored 1933 sports pavilion on the Streatham end of Tooting Common. It has an accessible main hall with direct access to the field, boot/small room and 4 loos (1 accessible) on the ground floor. It also has a small studio type space upstairs. It's run as a community centre with a variety of activities and events. It's not your standard production space but it works really well for intimate small scale performance, spoken word events and story-telling. It has become a well recognised exhibition space for local artists, and its setting amid the trees of the common makes it a very special location.
